At SME 2012 Twinhead launched the DURABOOK T7Q and presented several oncoming rugged tablets and notebooks.
DURABOOK T7Q, an upgraded fully-rugged tablet from T7M, offers ultra-long battery life, a 5MP camera as well as diversified connectivity for mobile workers in transportation, logistics, public safety and field services. With 2 high-capacity and hot-swappable battery packs as standard, T7Q houses up to 12 hours of operation with no downtime. The T7Q is powered by either a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N2600 or 1.86GHz Intel Atom N2800 processor, which is supported by 2GB of DDRIII memory and an mSATA SSD of 32GB, 40GB, 64GB, 80GB or 128GB. The T7Q is compliant with MIL-STD 810G for drop and vibration, and is said to be able to survive 5-foot (152cm) drops. Water and dust resistance is to IP65 standard, and its working temperature range is from -20℃~+55℃. Moreover, the T7Q features versatile communications via Bluetooth, WLAN, GPS and LTE, which allows the unit to maintain seamless connectivity for fleet tracking and fieldwork. In addition, the integrated direct data collection features such as RFID, 1D and 2D Barcode Scanner, and a rear 5MP camera with flash make T7Q a complete all-in-one device for warehouse and fleet managements.
